La Paz Regional Hospital

Located in Parker, Arizona, La Paz Regional Hospital is receiving $171,000 over a three-year period from the Federal Communications Commission’s Universal Service Fund Rural Health Care Program, thanks to the expertise of Rural Health Telecom.

The goal of La Paz Regional Hospital ever since it was established in 1973 has been to provide the best medical care in eastern Arizona.  Qualifying for federal funds has enabled the hospital to enhance the scope, depth and expertise of its medical practice areas, saving lives, while at the same time benefiting the hospital’s bottom line.

Community Memorial Hospital

Community Memorial Hospital of Oconto Falls, Wisconsin, plans to use money it receives from the Federal Communications Commission Rural Health Care Fund to improve health care services through electronic health records for patients throughout northeast Wisconsin.

Having qualified for the fund as a result of the comprehensive telecommunications plan prepared with the assistance of Rural Health Telecom, Community Memorial will be able to continue a 40-year commitment to providing the highest quality healthcare to its patients in a safe, comfortable environment.
